Job summary

Courier Network Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher / Operations Agent in Tempe to manage Expedited and Next Flight Out shipments by air and domestic transport.

You will receive shipping instructions and follow customer guidelines for export, import, and domestic transactions, coordinating local pickups, drop-offs, and airline transfers. Responsibilities include scheduling drivers, communicating with drivers and agents, monitoring shipments, resolving delays with urgency, and ensuring documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College graduate and/or high school diploma with an equivalent combination of Air Export experience highly desired.
• Prior experience in logistics/freight forwarding preferred.
• Basic to intermediate experience using Windows and MS Office applications.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse people.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to locations per schedules or urgent needs.
• Relay status and messages to drivers, Routing Team, and supervisors.
• Communicate with drivers and agents regarding shipment status and handling.
• Monitor shipments through completion and keep supervisors informed of details.
• Resolve shipment problems with urgency together with supervisors.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
• Build relationships with customers, offices, agents, and service providers.
• Review SOPs to ensure TSA and quality compliance.
• Arrange pickups or deliveries between client locations and airports.
