Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to join a nationwide team of professionals. The role supports business planning, market intel collection, and development of Air Force partnerships, with the CPM for the Air Force and regular briefings to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has an advanced physics degree or equivalent hard-science background, and may have U.S. Air Force experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or better in physics, engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology, or other hard science.
• Prior service in the U.S. Air Force strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into a long-range business plan and develop a detailed marketing/business plan, including a marketing strategy.
• Capture and interpret market intel and share intel with others via regular communications and entry into CRM.
• Develop and maintain Air Force business relationships with partners at the Pentagon.
• Contact customers regularly to understand needs and describe how ARA technologies may help their efforts.
• Serve as the ARA Customer Portfolio Manager (CPM) for the Air Force.
• Assist with preparation and delivery of briefings to ARA senior leadership.
• Collaborate with ARA subject matter experts to develop value propositions to customers.
