Job summary

Nominal is seeking an experienced business development leader to expand our U.S. Government footprint with the Air Force and broader test enterprise.

You will own pipeline creation, customer engagement, and deal execution across key defense accounts, partnering with Capture Strategy to align opportunities with Nominal’s roadmap. You will translate customer needs into enduring programs, managing relationships with senior stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams to win complex opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, growth, capture, or program strategy for US military or civilian orgs.
• Deep knowledge of Air Force structures and complex opportunity execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to coordinate with teammates to build targeted demos and assess integration options.
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and track record in pipeline management and growth.

Responsibilities

• Shape and close strategic opportunities by aligning mission needs with Nominal’s platform.
• Identify, craft, and close new market opportunities in line with business objectives.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
• Provide insight on funding dynamics, acquisition pathways, and requirements.
• Own qualification, cultivation, and capture processes with growth, legal, and ops teams.
• Identify partnerships to expand reach and strengthen program positioning.
• Grow early engagements into enduring programs and represent Nominal at meetings.
