Job summary

Morrisonexpress is seeking an Air Export Coordinator to manage shipments from booking through closure. You will handle CW1 files, coordinate airline space, and ensure compliance with export documentation and regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced freight forwarder environment in California. Weekend/overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in air export from booking through billing and file closure.
• Familiarity with AES/EEI filing and export documentation.
• Knowledge of TSA/IAC security requirements and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize shipments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage air export shipments from booking through departure, billing, and file closure.
• Open and maintain shipment files in CargoWise (CW1).
• Book space with airlines and confirm routing, schedules, rates, and capacity.
• Coordinate cargo pickup with approved trucking vendors.
• Prepare and verify HAWB and MAWB documentation.
• Complete AES/EEI filing and verify ITN or exemption information.
• Review invoices, packing lists, SLI, and other export docs for accuracy.
• Escalate delays or service exceptions to management.
