Expeditors Hawthorne, CA seeks an Air Export Gateway Operations Coordinator to support the West region with timely air cargo movements, bookings, and documentation. You will coordinate transfers, work with trucking vendors, and ensure compliance with regulations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, English proficiency, ability to work overtime, and comfort with numbers.

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Must pass a background check.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service – both internal/external whether verbal or email.
Maintain positive relationships with counterparts in air export departments, airlines, truckers, and ground handlers.
Monitor reporting tools and rates from vendors and ensure timely bill payments.
Assist in booking, consolidation paperwork, and scanning documents into imaging system.
Oversee airport transfers and pickups with local trucking vendors.
Maintain compliance and ensure shipment quality during consolidation.
Support capacity management through schedules and space booking.
