Expeditors is seeking a supervisor for the Air Export team in Seattle to drive efficient operations, manage vendor relations, and support finance, sales, and people initiatives. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and adherence to company standards.

You will mentor staff, monitor reports, and ensure training and development while aligning with Expeditors' values and growth opportunities. This position offers a dynamic, customer-focused logistics environment in the Seattle area.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industry-specific qualification (country-specific).
• Proven supervisory attitude.
• Good market and product knowledge.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including clear communication to obtain results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with OPS and external regulations; ensure SOPs are followed.
• Improve department process flow and efficiency in air export operations.
• Monitor and utilize system reports (STAT1, CONRPT, SHSUM, RARRPT, STAT3) for supervision.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships; promote cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in weekly finances and ensure timely accounts payable and credit procedures.
• Support sales with pricing, routing, and transition of new business; respond to RFPs.
• Mentor the No. 2, allocate workloads, and ensure training and development plans are followed.
• Promote culture and participate in department meetings and planning.
