Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Customer Service Agent for Air Export in South San Francisco, CA. This onsite role coordinates international air export shipments, communicates with customers, and ensures compliance with U.S. export regulations.

You will arrange transportation, manage essential documentation, and support multiple departments to keep shipments moving smoothly. The position is full-time and temporary with a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup of freight and arrange delivery to loading platform.
• Process export shipments accurately, ensure compliance with US export rules and customer expectations.
• Enter shipment data, generate documents/labels, apply rates and charges, and arrange export clearance with US Customs.
• Coordinate pickup from customer/vendor and transfer shipments to carrier.
• Arrange flights with airlines and provide flight info and shipment details to customers.
• Print and distribute export documents and apply cargo labels.
