Staffmark Group in Wood Dale, IL is seeking an Ocean Export Operations Agent. The role pays $22.00–$25.00 per hour and follows a Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm schedule. You will manage ocean export shipments, coordinate pickups, book carriers, and prepare bills of lading.

We look for 1+ years in freight forwarding, ability to lift 40 lbs, and strong data handling skills. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability Insurance, and an optional 401(k).

• 1+ years of freight forwarding experience.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Good with data.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean export shipments and related communications via email, Teams, phone, and in person.
• Schedule pickups for ocean export shipments.
• Book ocean export shipments with carriers and co-loaders.
• Create/correct bills of lading and related documents.
• Issue freight invoices for ocean export shipments.
• Send pre-alerts to customers and overseas offices.
• Complete required training programs.
