Job summary

Spirit International Transport in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an Air Export Coordinator to manage international air freight operations from booking to delivery. You will ensure accuracy of export documents, coordinate with airlines and agents, and maintain clear communication with customers under tight deadlines.

The role requires 1–3 years in air export or freight forwarding, knowledge of IATA rules, AES/ACE filing, and proficiency with CargoWise or similar systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in air export, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
• Familiarity with IATA regulations and export compliance.
• Experience with export documentation and AES/ACE filing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process air export shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Prepare and review export documents including airway bills, invoices, packing lists, and SE declarations.
• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, TSA requirements, and U.S. export laws.
• Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, and customers to coordinate shipments.
• File EEI through AES/ACE as required.
• Track and trace shipments and provide updates to customers and teams.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight partners for clearance and delivery.
• Manage rates, routing, and carrier selection to optimize cost and transit time.
