Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in the United States is seeking an Air Gateway Agent who will ensure timely, cost-effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Gateway department. You will process MAWB consolidations, set trade-lanes, and apply ATA procedures.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with carriers, warehouse teams, and customers to meet KPIs while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong planning, organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with tight deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Excel and general office software; data accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain data integrity.
• Prepare, handle and process documentation for air export consolidations.
• Interact with and coordinate with regional air export teams.
• Arrange bookings with carriers and optimize cargo consolidations.
• Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport and communicate with warehouse and dispatch teams.
• Track and trace shipments, monitor vendor performance, and address issues.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations; support pricing team as needed.
