Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics, with air freight experience preferred.
• Certifications in freight forwarding or customs brokerage advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments from gateway facility: booking space, arranging pickups, coordinating with carriers.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
• Prepare export docs: air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, export licenses.
• Verify documentation for customs clearance and cargo acceptance.
• Facilitate customs clearance: filing export declarations and permits.
• Monitor export shipments from gateway to destination airport and provide updates.
• Address issues or delays and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary client contact for shipment status and docs.
• Liaise with carriers, brokers, and service providers to resolve issues.
• Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers to optimize service quality and cost.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipment data and docs.
