Job summary

RTX is seeking a seasoned engineer for an onsite role in the United States (Tucson area per posting) requiring active DoD clearance. The candidate will drive improvement initiatives, lead cross‑functional teams, and conduct trade studies to balance quality, cost, schedule, and performance.

Candidates should have 8+ years in engineering with leadership, experience in electrical subsystems/circuit design, and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
• Minimum of 8 years’ engineering experience with progressing leadership roles.
• Experience with Electrical subsystems and/or Circuit Card Assembly development, integration, test, and production support.
• Experience with analog, digital and/or mixed-signal circuit design/analysis or hardware integration/test.

Responsibilities

• Define improvement projects using RTX factory tools and assess ROI.
• Lead teams by leveraging strengths and mitigating gaps.
• Lead trade studies to choose best solution considering quality, cost, schedule, and performance.
• Convey task status on complex issues across teams and leadership.
• Fill roles as needed to help ensure business unit success.
• Partner with program team to integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
