Job summary

USA Jet within Ascent Global Logistics is seeking a Flight Follower/Dispatcher based at Willow Run Airport in Belleville, MI. You will report to the Director of Operations and oversee the operational control of all flight activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

The role requires coordinating aircraft utilization, maintenance, crew scheduling, flight releases, and weather monitoring while complying with FARs and company manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAR 121 Dispatch Certificate preferred.
• Experience in 135 and 121 flight following departments preferred.
• Must maintain valid passport; travel may be required.
• Proficient in English, reading and writing; 30 wpm typing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign, and control aircraft utilization.
• Coordinate maintenance discrepancies with Maintenance.
• Schedule crews for proper coverage and time control.
• Execute flight releases with the pilot-in-command.
• Monitor weather and advise on course of action.
• Track aircraft and crew status; log irregularities.
• Escalate operations issues for expedited resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of operating manuals and regs.
• Participate in safety programs and TSA/FAA requirements.
