Job summary

Western Global Airlines, LLC. is seeking a qualified Flight Follower/Dispatcher to join our operations team. The role requires an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license and 1-3 years of Flight Follower experience, with Part 121 preferred.

You will monitor flights globally, prepare data for crewmembers, issue flight releases, and ensure safe, compliant operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with dispatch software and MS

Qualifications

• Familiarity with dispatching and call-routing software, GPS, database, and aviation ground support software; knowledge of meteorology, navigation, instrumentation, and FAA regulations.
• Must have a working knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements.
• 1-3 years previous Flight Follower experience; Part 121 preferred.
• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License required.
• Flight Follower or Flight Dispatch: Part 121 preferred but not required.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be 23 years of age and able to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outstanding communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain flight schedule database.
• Monitor each flight for departures/arrivals, diversions, delays, and safety considerations.
• Prepare and provide weather, NOTAMs, weight and balance, and other data to crewmembers before departure.
• Prepare and issue the flight release in accordance with procedures under 14 CFR Part 121.
• Monitor flight progress, weather, and destination/alternate airport status; initiate deviations as needed.
• Ensure crewmembers are briefed on mechanical issues, MEL/CDL, and other items affecting flights.
• Report and record irregularities involving mechanical, operational, safety, or emergency issues.
