Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to provide rapid, life-saving patient transport from the Wadesboro base. You will combine advanced aviation skills with clinical teamwork to ensure safe, efficient missions and strong patient care.

The role requires FAA credentials, thousands of helicopter flight hours, and the ability to work a 7x7 schedule in North Carolina. A $12,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• FAA certifications required: Commercial CPL with instrument rating or ATP; proper category and class ratings.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate (or higher).
• 2,500 hours total time in helicopter; 100 hours cross-country; 75 instrument hours; 100 night hours.

Responsibilities

• Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
• Plans and executes flights considering weather, weight/balance, and fuel requirements.
• Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for mission execution.
• Responds to emergencies, maintaining readiness at all times.
• Maintains flight and maintenance logs per FAA and company requirements.
• Represents the company professionally with patients and the public.
