Job summary

AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator-Pineville Elementary is a contract/hourly extracurricular assignment within Wyoming County Schools. This role supports AIM meetings, data review, and intervention planning to improve identified students' growth.

The coordinator works with the principal, teachers, and parents to understand referrals, schedules meetings, maintains records, prepares referral forms, facilitates AIM meetings, and summarizes outcomes, under the school principal's

Qualifications

A valid WV Teacher Certification.
Current employee of Wyoming County Schools.
Knowledge of the community, school and enrolled students is critical.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, identifying and recommending appropriate interventions for identified students.
Support principal and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instruction interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction to meet student needs, and document interventions to determine student growth.
Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referral.
Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings.
Maintain the official records and logs of the AIM meetings and outcomes.
Assist teachers with the preparation of AIM referral forms, as needed
Facilitate team interaction at the AIM meetings.
Summarize discussions and decisions.
Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
