Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an AIM Coordinator to guide the Academic Improvement Mission team, review data, and recommend interventions for identified students. You will support principals and classroom teachers in designing instruction and documenting interventions to show student growth.

You will facilitate AIM meetings, maintain official records, prepare referral forms, and summarize discussions. The role requires WV Teacher Certification and current employment with Wyoming County

Qualifications

• Must hold WV Teacher Certification.
• Current employee of Wyoming County Schools.
• Knowledge of the community, school and enrolled students is critical.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, and recommending interventions for identified students.
• Support principals and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instructional interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction, and document interventions to determine student growth.
• Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referral.
• Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings.
• Maintain the official records and logs of AIM meetings and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with the preparation of AIM referral forms, as needed.
• Facilitate team interaction at the AIM meetings.
• Summarize discussions and decisions.
• Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
