Job summary

Wyoming County Schools seeks an AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator for Herndon Consolidated Elementary and Middle School on a contract/hourly basis. The role focuses on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, and coordinating interventions to support identified students.

The position requires WV Teacher Certification and current employment with Wyoming County Schools, with preference for experienced counselors, administrators, or current school faculty.

Qualifications

• A valid WV Teacher Certification
• Current employee of Wyoming County Schools
• Preference to school counselor, administrators, or current faculty at the school will be given.

Responsibilities

• Guide AIM team meetings, review data, and identify interventions for identified students.
• Assist principals and teachers to identify and develop instruction interventions and differentiate instruction.
• Help AIM team, principals, and parents understand student referrals.
• Schedule and notify stakeholders of AIM meetings.
• Maintain official AIM meeting records and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with AIM referral forms.
• Facilitate AIM meeting discussions and team interactions.
• Summarize AIM discussions and decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal.
