Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks an AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator to guide the AIM student assistance team, review data, and recommend interventions for identified students. You will support principals and teachers in selecting instructional strategies and documenting growth.

The role requires coordinating AIM meetings with parents and staff, maintaining official records, and assisting with referral forms.

Qualifications

Valid WV Teacher Certification required.
Preference for current employee of Wyoming County Schools or familiar with the community.
Knowledge of the school community and enrolled students is critical.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, identifying and recommending appropriate interventions for identified students.
Support principal and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instruction interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction to meet student needs, and document interventions to determine student growth.
Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referral.
Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings.
Maintain the official records and logs of the AIM meetings and outcomes.
Assist teachers with the preparation of AIM referral forms, as needed
Facilitate team interaction at the AIM meetings.
Summarize discussions and decisions.
Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
