Job summary

West Virginia Department of Education AIM Coordinator position supports Huff Consolidated Elementary and Middle School by guiding AIM meetings, reviewing data, and recommending interventions for identified students. Role collaborates with principals and teachers to differentiate instruction, maintains AIM records, and schedules meetings with stakeholders.

The coordinator assists families in understanding referrals and summarizes outcomes, ensuring proper follow-up.

Qualifications

WV Teacher Certification required.
Current employee of Wyoming County Schools preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data, identifying and recommending appropriate interventions for identified students.
Support principal and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instruction interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction to meet student needs, and document interventions to determine student growth.
Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referral.
Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings.
Maintain the official records and logs of the AIM meetings and outcomes.
Assist teachers with the preparation of AIM referral forms, as needed.
Facilitate team interaction at the AIM meetings.
Summarize discussions and decisions.
Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
