Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator at Berlin McKinney Elementary School in Wyoming County, WV. This contract/hourly extracurricular role supports the AIM team, school staff, and families by facilitating meetings, reviewing data, and identifying interventions for students.

The coordinator will schedule meetings, maintain records, assist with referrals, and help communicate decisions to stakeholders while working under the school principal's

Qualifications

• Valid WV Teacher Certification.
• Current employee of Wyoming County Schools.
• Preference to school counselor, administrator, or current faculty at the school.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings and reviewing data to determine interventions.
• Support principal and teachers to identify and develop instructional interventions and document actions to monitor student growth.
• Assist AIM team members, principals, and parents in understanding student referrals.
• Schedule and notify stakeholders of AIM meetings.
• Maintain official records/logs of AIM meetings and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with AIM referral forms as needed.
• Facilitate team interaction at AIM meetings and summarize discussions and decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
