Cobra is seeking a detail-oriented AIA Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate office team in Wheeling, IL. This role focuses on managing all aspects of construction billing, collections, and contract compliance documentation, serving as the liaison between project management, customers, and accounting to ensure timely billing and payment collection.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AIA billing experience.
• 2+ years of construction industry accounting, billing, or accounts receivable experience.
• Ability to review contracts for billing compliance and invoicing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit high-volume, accurate AIA billing packages in a timely manner.
• Review billing reports and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers on change orders, retainage adjustments, and billing revisions.
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities as needed.
• Support month-end closing processes and reporting requirements.
