Job summary

Denver-Elek is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join the shared services team supporting commercial construction, public works, and mixed project portfolios. Reporting to the Controller, you will handle AIA billing, track change orders, manage receivables, and maintain documentation.

This role offers growth into broader accounting tasks, including payroll compliance reporting and client collections, with an emphasis on accuracy, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction accounts receivable.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with AIA billing and construction accounting.
• Knowledge of change order management, certified payroll reporting, and MBE compliance reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and invoice reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process AIA billing for construction projects.
• Track and manage change orders.
• Process project waivers and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare job status reports.
• Complete compliance reporting, including certified payroll and MBE reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and customer collections.
• Reconcile invoices and provide general accounting support.
