Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Workforce Readiness & Strategy, to shape the future of the Operations workforce in an AI-enabled era. You will align business and AI strategy across Operations, HR, Transformation and Technology, defining roles, skills, and capabilities with clear path forward.

You will collaborate with leaders to map work design, learning priorities, and adoption strategies, driving enterprise-wide readiness and strategic impact.

• You translate business strategy into practical workforce requirements, including future roles and capabilities.
• You connect technology, work design, talent, learning and readiness to identify impactful choices.
• You understand enterprise AI, automation and technology-enabled transformation well enough to evaluate implications for knowledge work.
• You use qualitative and quantitative evidence to assess readiness and provide insights for leaders.
• You anticipate readiness challenges and help move from strategy to action.
• You build credibility and alignment among senior leaders without formal authority.
• You lead productive discussions and turn ambiguity into clear narratives and decisions.
• You are energized by shaping the future of work and turning complex concepts into focused actions.

Responsibilities

• Assess how AI and automation may affect work, operating models, and talent needs.
• Build a workforce-readiness assessment identifying capability gaps and risks.
• Develop workforce scenarios and decision frameworks for leaders amid evolving AI capabilities.
• Create a prioritized capability roadmap with near-term actions and long-term goals.
• Facilitate leader discussions on work design, role evolution, and readiness tradeoffs.
• Translate complex workforce implications into concise executive-ready recommendations.
• Partner with AI Fluency and Adoption teams to convert capability requirements into learning and enablement.
