Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Head of AI Transformation to embed within portfolio companies and lead enterprise AI initiatives. This fully remote, autonomous role involves diagnosing high-leverage workflows, designing and deploying AI solutions, and driving measurable EBITDA impact across industries.

You will collaborate with Managing Directors and portfolio CEOs, owning projects from diagnosis to adoption while delivering tangible operational improvements and scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–6 years in forward-deployed engineering, AI transformation consulting, automation engineering, BizOps, technology consulting, or similar.
• 2+ years shipping AI and automation solutions into live business environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using modern AI/ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Embed within portfolio companies to map, diagnose, and redesign core business processes.
• Design and develop AI/automation solutions with measurable business impact.
• Own AI initiatives from diagnosis through adoption and measurement.
• Train teams and develop playbooks, dashboards, and reusable toolkits.
