Job summary

Duke University School of Medicine, Office of Data Science and AI, is seeking an AI Learning Facilitator to guide faculty and staff in using Microsoft Copilot and approved AI tools. You will deliver engaging, practical learning experiences across virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats, promoting responsible AI adoption within Duke Health and the broader Duke community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, learning sciences, information science, computer science, data science, communications, organizational development, or related field.
• Two years of experience delivering training, facilitating adult learning, supporting learning technologies, providing technical consultation or user support, coordinating educational programs.
• Experience with artificial intelligence tools, digital learning programs, or technology-enabled workforce development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate synchronous and asynchronous AI learning experiences, including instructor-led sessions, breakout activities, office hours, demonstrations, practice exercises, and participant support.
• Review curriculum and materials to prepare sessions; participate in rehearsals and debriefs.
• Create inclusive, engaging learning environments for participants with varied backgrounds and levels of AI experience.
• Develop educational content for AI training initiatives, including videos and learning assets for synchronous and asynchronous formats.
• Diagnose and resolve routine participant issues and escalate complex matters through established channels.
• Monitor changes in approved AI tools and update materials accordingly.
• Maintain program records and contribute to reports on participation and outcomes.
• Contribute to communities of practice and other activities to encourage responsible AI adoption.
• The initial primary assignment is Work Better with AI Academy; may support related AI learning initiatives.
