Job summary

Duke University’s Office of Data Science and AI seeks an AI Learning Facilitator to advance Duke’s Work Better with AI initiative. You will guide faculty and staff in using Copilot and approved AI tools through engaging, practical learning experiences.

You will support workforce transformation by delivering sessions, creating resources, and promoting responsible AI adoption across the Duke community. This is a grant-funded term position with hybrid eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience delivering training, facilitating adult learning, and supporting learning technologies.
• Experience with artificial intelligence tools, digital learning programs, or technology-enabled workforce development is preferred.
• Ability to facilitate learning in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead AI learning sessions and office hours.
• Facilitate Work Better With AI Academy sessions.
• Prepare sessions with curricula, facilitator guides, and materials; participate in rehearsals.
• Create inclusive, engaging learning environments for diverse learners.
• Translate AI concepts into practical guidance for non-technical and technical audiences.
• Develop facilitator guides and self-paced learning resources.
• Diagnose and resolve routine learner issues and escalate complex cases.
• Monitor learner engagement and document questions and feedback for curriculum improvements.
• Maintain program records and contribute to reports on participation and outcomes.
• Support related AI learning initiatives as capacity allows.
