Job summary

Duke University School of Medicine's Office of Data Science and AI seeks an AI Learning Facilitator to advance the Work Better with AI initiative. You will design and deliver practical, engaging sessions that build confidence using Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools for a diverse Duke audience.

As an educator and learner-support resource, you will create accessible guidance for non-technical and technical staff, maintain training materials, and help drive responsible AI adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, learning sciences, information science, computer science, data science, communications, organizational development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience delivering training, facilitating adult learning, supporting learning technologies, or providing technical support; AI tools experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging learning experiences in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to learners with varying backgrounds.
• Develop educational content for AI training, including videos and self-paced resources.
• Prepare sessions with curriculum and materials, review requirements, and participate in rehearsals.
• Monitor learner engagement, identify challenges, and suggest curriculum improvements.
• Maintain training materials and update guidance for changes in approved AI tools.
