Job summary

Crowe is seeking an AI Tech Lead to design, build, and maintain AI agents that accelerate Crowe's Audit services. You will work directly with Audit practitioners, shaping the agent from workflow learning to end-to-end ownership, while delivering robust Python code and reusable patterns.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, project leadership, and collaboration across the Audit BU. Hybrid work and a focus on scalable AI solutions are core expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• 1+ years designing and deploying AI agents or AI-assisted workflows.
• Hands-on coding and development of modular, scalable AI agent architectures.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and agent-assisted workflows for Crowe's Audit practice.
• Work directly with Audit SMEs, learning workflows and coding the agent as built.
• Write and review substantial Python code, prompts, and agent resources.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish reusable engineering patterns and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Mentor engineers and lead a small forward deployed engineering team.
