Job summary

Watts & Associates Recruitment is partnering with an Am Law 100 international firm in Silicon Valley to hire a 2–4 year IP & Technology Litigation Associate. You will handle AI, copyright, trademark, trade secret and false advertising disputes for major tech clients with direct access to senior trial lawyers.

The role offers substantial responsibility, exposure to top-tier matters, and a clear path for long-term progression in technology law within a premier platform.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IP/technology litigation experience.
• Experience in AI, copyright, trademark or trade secrets disputes.
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy.
• Admission to the California Bar and good standing.
• Top-tier academic credentials from a T25 Law School.

Responsibilities

• Lead matters involving AI, copyright, trademark, trade secret disputes.
• Perform legal research, draft pleadings, briefs and client advice.
• Manage discovery and e-discovery processes.
• Develop litigation strategy with senior trial lawyers.
• Collaborate with privacy, technology and appellate teams.
• Prepare depositions, hearings and trial materials.
• Communicate with clients, handle deadlines and multiple matters.
