Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Intellectual Property Associate in New York, NY with 2–4 years of experience in AI, trademark, copyright, false advertising, or trade-secret law. The role focuses on IP/technology litigation, enforcement, and strategic client counsel.

The candidate should have strong writing and research skills, be adept in e-discovery, and capable of working with cross-functional teams across complex litigation matters. Bar admission in the relevant state is required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in AI, trademark, copyright, false advertising, and/or trade-secret law.
• Strong understanding of the Lanham Act, the Copyright Act, the DMCA, and CFAA.
• Trial experience is preferred.
• Willingness to engage with a broad range of laws and legal principles.
• Highly motivated with excellent academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Manage intellectual property/technology litigation and enforcement matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver legal solutions.
• Develop strategies for complex litigation and enforcement actions.
• Counsel clients on legal risks related to product development.
• Conduct legal research and analysis with strong writing skills.
• Manage the discovery phase of litigation, including e-discovery.
• Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills.
