SpaceXAI is seeking a network engineer to design, build, and operate networks powering our AI supercomputer campuses. You will support fabrics used by GPU training and inference clusters, site operations, automation, and facilities teams.

The role thrives in intense, high‑flux environments with strong communication and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with data‑center switches (Cisco/Arista/Juniper/NVIDIA Spectrum‑X), OSI expertise, and familiarity with GitOps,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other STEM discipline.
• 3+ years of professional network engineering experience; OR 5+ years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, low‑latency networks for AI training fabrics and clusters.
• Maintain data center and campus networks per standards; collaborate with infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate and deploy data‑center switches, NICs, firewalls, and 400G/800G components.
• Contribute to network automation tooling and IaC frameworks.
• Coordinate network change windows with stakeholders; perform updates and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network issues affecting cluster health and performance; publish RCA.
