Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to lead the design and operation of mission-critical data center networks and to advance AI-native operations. You will architect scalable architectures, drive automation, and ensure secure, high-performance networking across our expanding fleet.

You will work with a range of hardware vendors, implement AI-driven monitoring, and push for proactive hardware health analysis. A strong Linux networking background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, operating & automating critical networks.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, & deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations.
• Lead end to end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring.
• Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: Design AI and machine learning tools to monitor network health, detect anomalies and pro-actively detect anomalous hardware behavior.
• Automate rapid provisioning & upgrades of network devices & servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware & software problems.
• Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols and software.
