Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Network Engineer to design, build, and operate networks powering our AI supercomputer campuses. You will support fabrics for GPU training and inference, interfacing with SiteOps, storage, and enterprise teams, while maintaining rapid, reliable operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, high urgency with operational excellence, and clear communication to teammates and stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or STEM field.
• 3+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• Experience in latency-sensitive data-center networks.
• Experience with GitOps and IaC frameworks.
• CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, low-latency networks for AI training fabrics.
• Design and maintain data center and campus networks with standardization.
• Evaluate, procure, and deploy 400G/800G-ready hardware.
• Advance network automation tooling with GitOps/IaC workflows.
• Coordinate network change windows with stakeholders and schedule maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and publish RCA documentation and retrospectives.
• Provide on-call networking support during cluster bring-up and campaigns.
• Update network documentation including architecture drawings and fiber plant records.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, ISO, and NIST cybersecurity standards.
