Job summary

SpaceX in the United States is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate mission-critical networks powering our data centers and fleet of vehicles. You will lead AI-native network operations, automate provisioning and upgrades, and drive innovative architectures across hardware and software.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with Juniper, Cisco, Arista, and NVIDIA gear, and the ability to work extended hours.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience designing, operating and automating critical networks.
Experience with Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Arista, NVIDIA hardware.
Experience automating network configurations and monitoring.
Experience with kernel systems, Linux networking, high-speed optical modules, RDMA.
AI-native engineer skilled at deploying and looping AI agents.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations.
Lead end-to-end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring.
Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: Design AI and machine learning tools to monitor network health and detect anomalies.
Automate rapid provisioning and upgrades of network devices and servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware and software problems.
Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols and software.
