Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate mission‑critical networks for data centers powering internal operations and our vehicle fleet. You will lead end‑to‑end automation of the network lifecycle and develop AI‑driven monitoring to detect anomalies and optimize performance across hardware and topologies.

Requirements include 5+ years with Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Arista, NVIDIA hardware, plus Linux networking and RDMA expertise, and a focus on AI agents

Qualifications

5+ years of experience designing, operating & automating critical networks.
Strong knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Arista, NVIDIA hardware.
Experience automating network configurations & monitoring.
Linux kernel networking and high‑speed optical modules (RDMA) expertise.
AI-native engineer skilled at deploying AI agents.

Responsibilities

Architect, design & deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations.
Lead end to end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring.
Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: Design AI and machine learning tools to monitor network health, detect anomalies and proactive hardware issues.
Automate rapid provisioning & upgrades of network devices & servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware & software problems.
Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols and software.
