Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a seasoned network engineer for our AI supercomputer campuses. You will design, build, and operate networks powering GPU training and inference clusters, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and robust redundancy in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead network automation efforts, support cluster bring-up, on-call rotations, and collaborate cross-functionally with compute, storage, and SiteOps teams to maintain secure, scalable fabrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or STEM; 3+ years network engineering experience, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 networks in latency-sensitive data-center environments.
• Functional experience with multiple network vendors in production or lab environments.
• Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available, low-latency networks for AI training fabrics, inference front-ends, and storage.
• Maintain data center and campus networks per company standards; collaborate with adjacent teams.
• Procure and deploy data-center switches, NICs, firewalls, and related appliances supporting 400G/800G+.
