Job summary

IFS is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer in Illinois to stand up our product on customer data, prototype near‑production solutions, and prove value within the deal timeline. You’ll work with Sales, Product, R&D to translate customer needs into scalable accelerators and roadmap items.

You will own the technical outcome from discovery through production adoption, deliver fast value, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate across teams to maximize impact for strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to run discovery sessions and connect technical work to customer outcomes.
• Generalize solutions into reusable accelerators for future engagements.
• Experience applying AI tools, prototyping, and rapid value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery, scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, and adoption for strategic customer solutions.
• Prototype aggressively and productionize deliberately for fast value.
• Build tests and value proofs within customer data environments.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to translate customer patterns into roadmap investments.
• Develop specifications with customers and align with product/engineering teams.
• Work with the deal team to validate business value and technical feasibility.
