Job summary

IFS Copperleaf is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work across Sales, Product, and R&D to stand up our product on customer data quickly, validate value, and prototype near-production solutions. You will own the technical outcomes from discovery to production adoption, delivering fast value in live environments while shaping the roadmap with customer insights.

You will prototype, measure outcomes, and collaborate with product teams to turn validated patterns into scalable accelerators,

Qualifications

• Customer-facing and commercial ability.
• Abstraction and reuse across engagements.
• AI and agentic engineering including LLMs and orchestration.
• Familiar with enterprise integrations in regulated utility environments.
• Domain knowledge in asset-intensive industries (utilities, energy, transportation).
• Willingness to travel up to ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Work with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and nets-new opportunities.
• Own discovery, scoping, architecture, implementation, and adoption for customer solutions.
• Prototype aggressively and productionize deliberately.
• Engineer for security, reliability, observability, and integration with customer architectures.
• Build, deploy, and evaluate with customer data to measure value and adoption.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to translate customer patterns into roadmap investments.
