Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Sales Engineering team. You will blend deep AI and data expertise with customer-focused consultative skills to drive value for prospects and customers.

You’ll design and present architectures, support discovery workshops, and help shape the technical selling approach while collaborating with sales and engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with full AI model lifecycle in production.
• Experience in solutions architecture / pre-sales.
• 3-5 years in a similar role.
• Enterprise software and big data background.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert AI guidance in use-case discovery and workshops.
• Troubleshoot data science workloads and optimize performance.
• Create and deliver customer-focused solution designs.
• Present roadmaps, architectures and business outcomes to tech teams.
• Define technical selling approach for accounts.
• Collaborate with sales for account strategy and penetration.
