Job summary

TribalScale is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the intersection of software engineering, AI, product development, and client delivery. You will embed with client teams to translate business needs into production-ready software, while shaping AI systems, harnesses, and agent workflows for reliable real-world use.

You will work across the stack, from interfaces to AI infrastructure, ensuring observability, security, and robust performance in live deployments.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or another language used to build AI applications.
Experience instrumenting AI systems to trace decisions, measure quality, and diagnose failures.
Familiarity with graph-based orchestration, state machines, and multi-step workflows for coordinating agents and tools.

Responsibilities

Embed with client and internal teams to design and deploy production-quality software for AI applications.
Design, build, and refine AI-enabled products, agent loops, tools, APIs, and data pipelines.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clients to translate business needs into technical plans and deliverables.
