Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to lead the design, prototyping, and deployment of AI-powered solutions for renewable energy asset development and operations.

You will bridge business needs with technical implementation, delivering rapid PoCs and scaling them into production-ready systems in collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Development, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in ML or data engineering with production LLM/RAG work
• Proven track record of taking AI projects from PoC to production
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI or similar enterprise AI workflows
• Hands-on experience with AI agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.) for autonomous workflows
• Proficiency in integrating LLM APIs/SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face)
• Experience with RAG systems including vector databases and embedding models
• Experience building interactive apps with Streamlit/Hex
• Advanced GitHub/GitLab CI/CD workflows
• Expertise in Python, SQL and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TF, scikit-learn)
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and containerization
• Strong data governance understanding

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and cloud-native tech
• Develop rapid PoCs for RAG apps, operational/process optimisation, energy forecasting and predictive maintenance
• Create interactive demos using Streamlit or React for stakeholder validation
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system architectures
• Build and deploy scalable AI/ML models for renewable energy applications and asset performance
• Integrate AI capabilities via APIs/SDKs from major providers
• Implement MLOps pipelines with Dagster, Snowflake and LLM observability tools
• Design robust RAG architectures including vector DBs and embedding strategies
• Lead transitions of prototypes to production-grade apps
• Collaborate with DataOps and platform teams for scalable secure deployments
• Establish AI governance and compliance best practices
• Provide training and support to end users on AI tools and dashboards
