Job summary

Red Cell Partners, an incubation firm, seeks a customer-facing Sales Engineer/Solution Architect to partner with Sales and translate customer needs into clear use cases and demos. You will design technical solutions, craft rapid proofs-of-concept, and bridge Sales, Product, and Engineering.

You will own demo assets, document requirements, and help shape the delivery handoff while thriving in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical sales roles (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar).
• Ability to translate customer needs into clear use cases and solutions.
• Strong communication skills to lead conversations and build trust.
• Product-minded with focus on actionable requirements and roadmaps.
• Proven ability to create quick demos or prototypes to illustrate solutions.
• Comfort with APIs, integrations, and configurable product surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales on discovery calls and evaluations to clarify requirements.
• Translate customer problems into product use cases, solutions, and implementation plans.
• Explain platform capabilities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build rapid demo mock-ups and proof-of-concepts to accelerate deals.
• Own and evolve demo assets, including reference architectures and data samples.
• Write requirements summaries, solution proposals, and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with Product to surface needs and plan roadmaps.
• Assist delivery with handoff and ensure commitments match reality.
