Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help build Agentforce-powered AI agents that autonomously handle customer inquiries. You will design architectures, develop multilingual agent experiences, and integrate with Salesforce Data Cloud and various APIs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in backend software engineering, strong knowledge of Java/Python/Apex/C#, and hands‑on Salesforce platform experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3–5+ years of software engineering experience with backend development and AI/ML services.
• Languages: Java, Python, Apex, or C# in microservice, multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• AI/NLP: Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Salesforce: Hands‑on experience with the Salesforce Platform (Apex, LWC, Flows, API integrations).
• Data & APIs: RESTful/GraphQL APIs, data pipelines, relational and non-relational databases.
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD, unit tests, automated E2E testing.
• Communication: Able to translate complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise‑grade AI agents using Agentforce Builder, Agent Script, NGA.
• Develop multilingual, multi‑turn agent experiences with topics and fallbacks.
• Craft prompts, guardrails, and contextual instructions for high accuracy and safety.
• Integrate AI agents with Salesforce Data Cloud, Apex, REST/GraphQL APIs, and external systems.
• Set up testing, A/B testing, and benchmarking for conversation quality and deflection accuracy.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, and AI researchers to test new Agentforce capabilities.
• Participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and on‑call rotations for high availability.
