Job summary

Salesforce seeks an AI Software Engineer (MTS) to design and scale Agentforce-powered AI agents that autonomously handle customer support inquiries. You will build enterprise-grade agents using Agentforce Builder, Agent Script, Salesforce CRM, and Data Cloud, delivering multilingual support at scale while partnering with product teams to shape the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5+ years of software engineering experience with backend development and AI/ML services.
• Strong backend languages: Java, Python, Apex, or C# in microservice SaaS environments.
• Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and data pipelines in Salesforce ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent communication in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade AI agents.
• Develop multilingual agent topics, reasoning paths, and flows.
• Craft prompts and guardrails for accuracy and safety.
• Create integrations to Salesforce Data Cloud, Apex, APIs.
• Implement testing, A/B tests, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with Product, Architects, and AI Researchers.
• Participate in agile releases and CI/CD pipelines.
