Job summary

Finance of America Reverse is seeking an experienced leader to own the AI Security and Safeguards program, establishing controls and monitoring to enable rapid AI adoption with minimal risk to borrower data and regulatory standing.

The role involves hands-on AI security work, red teaming, model security testing, and guiding a small team as the program matures, while partnering with Legal, Compliance, and risk functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in information security, risk management or related IT work; 3+ years in AI security or ML risk.
• Experience building or scaling a security program from early stage to operational.
• Experience securing AI systems in production and with third-party AI services.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI Security and Safeguards program.
• Conduct AI red teaming, security testing of models and AI-enabled apps.
• Lead a small team as the program grows; oversee governance and controls.
• Maintain inventory of AI systems and discovery in collaboration with risk teams.
• Design safeguards against AI threats and integrate security into SDLC.
