Robinhood Markets, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer for the AI Security team to build an enterprise-grade AI platform and security primitives. You will focus on identity, authentication, authorization, encryption, and platform safety across Robinhood’s security stack.

You will partner with security and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable AI-powered capabilities within a modern distributed system landscape.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with security-focused design (authentication, authorization, identity, encryption).
• Experience building AI platforms, AI infrastructure, or production AI-powered systems.
• Proficiency in Go or Python with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms and distributed systems technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Kafka).
• Strong security fundamentals and embedding security into production system design.
• Experience designing reusable platform capabilities, APIs, libraries, or developer tooling.
• Proven experience delivering large engineering projects with meaningful impact.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to trade off security, reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Ability to collaborate across security and engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build a scalable AI platform enabling security teams to develop, deploy, and operate AI-powered agents and security capabilities.
• Develop foundational platform services, APIs, libraries, and SDKs for AI integration into security workflows.
• Design secure systems with identity, authentication, authorization, encryption, and data protection controls.
• Build and operate large-scale distributed systems supporting AI-powered security use cases.
• Develop platform capabilities and guardrails for safe AI agent operation.
• Translate security and engineering needs into reusable platform capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability, and security through automation.
• Shape the technical direction and architecture of Robinhood’s AI Security platform as it scales.
