Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

You will lead governance, risk management, and secure adoption of AI technologies, including Generative AI and ML platforms, partnering with executive teams to align security with business goals. You will recruit and mentor a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, and oversee strategy, architecture reviews, and security assessments for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computerscience, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field preferred.
• 10+ years progressive cybersecurity leadership experience.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, securing AI/ML.
• 2+ years cloud security configuration with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• 2+ years in application security with an emphasis on AI/ML.
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Proven project management and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF/CSF, ISO standards, and GenAI security projects.
• Certifications: CISSP required; CSSLP/CCSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, operating model, governance framework.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, reference architectures, secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and third-party assessments.
• Build and lead AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with executives to enable secure enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security reviews and risk assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
