Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI security program, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.

This leader develops the organization's strategy for securing Artificial Intelligence technologies while enabling responsible innovation. The Senior Director will recruit, develop, and lead a high‑performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, and will partner with executive leadership and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership (required).
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML (required).
• 2+ years cloud security configuration and management (AWS/GCP/Azure) (required).
• 2+ years in AI/ML application security (required).
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams (required).
• CSSLP/CISSP/CISM/CISM or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements for AI.
• Lead AI security risk management, model governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with technology, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments; adjust strategy accordingly.
