Robinhood is seeking a Security Engineer specializing in AI Vulnerability Management to enhance vulnerability capabilities through automation and scalable tooling. This role is centered in Menlo Park with in-person attendance expected.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security engineering, strong proficiency in programming languages, and a solid understanding of cloud-native environments. The position offers competitive compensation and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or security automation roles.
• Proficiency in Python or Go, including experience building scalable internal tools, APIs, or automation workflows.
• Experience working with AWS, Kubernetes, or modern cloud-native infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts, including CVSS and remediation prioritization.
• Experience using security tooling such as Snyk, Semgrep, or TruffleHog.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation workflows that support vulnerability discovery, prioritization, and remediation.
• Develop tooling and integrations that connect vulnerability findings with infrastructure context.
• Create CI/CD guardrails and developer workflows to prevent security issues.
• Support response to high-priority vulnerabilities and zero-day events.
• Build dashboards that translate security findings into insights for teams.
